Q1 In-Class Project Process Post

I am creating a piece about nature, including a human figure. The reason why I chose to do a human figure was because I wanted to practice outside of reference and teacher.

I wanted to try something new but easy to work with, so I decided to use gauche paint, as I am familiar with working in watercolor. I also decided that I could utilize pen/ink to make it look more illustration-y.

I am currently working on gauche, after I sketched the piece, before I apply the pen/ink.
