Dynamic Due Progress #2

I forgot to take a picture of the initial sketch, but I prepared the art with graphite and a light black ink undertone (watered down ink). Even though the thumbnail sketch for this was in color, I thought I should use charcoal as a dominant material in one of my two pieces. I then went over the piece with charcoal, first applying light and big coats to define where shadows are.

Next, I applied more detailed lines and made use of my kneadable eraser, and sprayed the piece with fixative when finished.
