Art 5 Summer Project Process Post #2

I cut my paper into the size I felt comfortable with, as I don't like working too big. I sketched my idea the best I can to the larger paper, making sure the composition looks okay. Now I start to paint! I start with a yellow-dominant wash with watercolor. I also put down some hints of purple in the more shaded areas of the painting that are in the foreground.
